Conocer bien los phrasal verbs es muy importante, aunque nos encontramos con el inconveniente de que hay muchos y en muchos casos un phrasal verb tiene varios significados. Así que, nada mejor que otra lista con algunos de los que podemos encontrar con más facilidad.



Run into (tropezarse con, chocar con)
The car ran into a tree.
El coche chocó contra un árbol.

Carry out (llevar a cabo)
We are not enough people to carry out the plan.

Diferencia entre shout, yell y scream

Las tres palabras pueden significar "gritar" en español, pero tienen algunas diferencias sutiles en su uso y connotaciones. A continuación se presentan las diferencias más comunes:
